2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide access to your community service program account and lessons.
- To generate your certified work log and certificates.
- To verify your identity and participation (when applicable).
- To respond to your support inquiries and other communications.
- To improve our platform and monitor user engagement.

We store your data securely and take all standard precautions to keep it secure, encrypted, and safe. Only authorized staff have access to your personal data. Data is retained for a minimum of 2 years after your participation to allow agencies to verify your completion.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share data with authorized agencies upon your request or for verification through our verification link and in conjunction with your hourlog. We may also utilize third-party service providers such as our bank for financial transactions, Google, Gmail for email, etc - these service providers will have access to some of the data you share.
Some of the general answers you input during the course lessons may be anonymized and shared with other users for grading and comparison purposes.
If you choose to communicate using third party platforms, we may respond via those same thrid party platforms in which case some of your information may be shared through their platform.
Mandatory Reporting
To protect the integrity of our program and the safety of our staff and volunteers, we may disclose your personal information, account records, communications, activity logs, submissions, and other relevant information to your supervising court, probation department, referral agency, law enforcement, or other appropriate authorities in connection with abusive, threatening, intimidating, harassing, or inappropriate conduct directed toward our staff or volunteers, attempts to falsify or cheat program requirements, suspected fraud, or other suspected criminal or unlawful activity, when required or permitted by law or when we reasonably believe such disclosure is necessary to protect our organization, its personnel, participants, or the public.
